A decorated medical leader and academician, he has played a pivotal role in advancing interventional cardiology, medical education, and healthcare administration in India. He has led large-scale hospital systems, contributed extensively to cardiac research, and was instrumental in national healthcare initiatives including COVID-19 preparedness. His expertise in complex cardiac interventions and structural heart disease is widely recognised.
