Dr. Arun Kannan is an Orthopedic Surgeon practicing at Apollo Hospitals, Greams Road, Chennai, and at his clinic, Jayam Ortho Care, Kodambakkam, Chennai. He specializes in hip and knee surgery and is one of the leading users of robotic hip replacement, robotic knee replacement, and robotic partial knee replacement in Chennai. He has keen areas of interest in knee ligament surgery, revision hip replacement, revision knee replacement, and bone tumor surgery. He performed the first Oxinium partial knee replacement in Tamil Nadu and is also the first surgeon in Tamil Nadu to successfully perform the replacement of 4 joints (both hips and both knees) in a single patient.
