Dr. Deepak Govil is celebrated as one of Delhi's premier surgical gastroenterologists, with a career spanning over 29 years. He is renowned for his extensive expertise in diagnosing and managing a diverse array of health conditions related to the gastrointestinal tract.

Professional Experience:

• During MS (Surgery): Posted in a surgical unit focusing on gastrointestinal cases in collaboration with the Department of Gastroenterology at AIIMS.
• At Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital: Managed a variety of surgical cases, both routine and emergency, including gastrointestinal surgeries.
• Ph.D. in GI Surgery at AIIMS: Served as a Senior Resident for 3 years, managing inpatient and outpatient services in the Department of Gastrointestinal Surgery.
• Assistant Professor of Surgery at GTB Hospital, New Delhi: Independently managed patients with gastrointestinal surgical issues and performed major GI surgeries.
• Department of GI Surgery at PSRI, New Delhi: Established the department and performed approximately 1,000 liver and gastrointestinal surgeries, including laparoscopic procedures.
• Department of Surgical Gastroenterology at Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, New Delhi: Part of an active GI surgical unit handling complex cases and participating in living-related liver transplants since September 2006.
