Dr. Nirmala S is a highly experienced Consultant Neurosurgeon at Rainbow Children’s Hospital, Hebbal, Bengaluru. She graduated from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences and completed her MS in General Surgery and M.Ch in Neurosurgery. With over 15 years of experience, Dr. Nirmala has performed a wide range of neurosurgical procedures including tumor surgeries, hydrocephalus management, movement disorder interventions, spinal trauma management, and emergency neurosurgical care. She has independently performed over 100 craniotomies, VP shunts, EVDs, burr holes, and interventional angiograms, and is an expert in handling neurosurgical emergencies like trauma, stroke, seizures, and neuroinfections.
