Dr. Pinakee Sunder Kar is a leading Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist in Siliguri with pioneering contributions to advanced gastro and liver care in North Bengal and Northeast India. He has performed more than 200 ERCP procedures, introduced HVPG measurement for the first time in West Bengal, and initiated High-definition Capsule Endoscopy in the region. He also performed the first Plasma Exchange Therapy for Alcoholic Hepatitis in North Bengal. Fluent in English, Hindi, and Bengali, Dr. Kar is known for his patient-focused approach and adoption of cutting-edge technologies for complex gastrointestinal and liver diseases.
