Dr. Pradeep Chowbey is a world-renowned pioneer in laparoscopic and robotic surgery. He spearheaded the growth of Minimal Access, Metabolic & Bariatric Surgery in India and the Asian subcontinent. He has trained over 20,000 surgeons worldwide and has been instrumental in developing globally accepted techniques such as MAFT and refinements in TEP hernia repair and endoscopic neck surgery. His institute at Max Healthcare was the first in India to receive Centers of Excellence accreditations for Metabolic & Bariatric Surgery and Hernia Surgery. Listed in the Guinness World Records and Limca Book of Records for performing the most minimal access surgeries, Dr. Chowbey has authored over 300 scientific papers and numerous surgical textbooks, making him a trusted name in advanced surgical care.
