Dr. Sandeep Aggarwal is a globally recognised leader in bariatric and minimal access surgery, credited with pioneering public-sector bariatric programs in India. A long-standing AIIMS faculty member (since 1999) and former Head of Surgery Unit II (till June 2024), he blends high-volume clinical practice with research, education, and editorial leadership (Editor, Journal of Minimal Access Surgery).
