About Dr Sanjay Kolte

Dr. Sanjay Kolte is a pioneer in kidney transplant and advanced urological surgery in Central India. He was the first kidney transplant surgeon among the alumni of Government Medical College, Nagpur, and has mentored many surgeons across premier institutes. He performed the first successful deceased donor kidney transplantation in Nagpur (2013) and Maharashtra’s first DCD (Donation after Circulatory Death) kidney transplant (2023). He is also a national faculty for live surgical demonstrations, sharing expertise in advanced laser and endoscopic techniques.

  • National faculty for advanced techniques like ThuLEP, Supine PCNL, and laser surgeries

  • First Kidney transplant surgeon amongst the Alumni Govt Medical College, Nagpur
