Dr Seema Thakur

Dr. Seema Thakur is a Senior Consultant in Genetic and Fetal Medicine with over 23 years of experience in prenatal diagnosis and genetic counselling. She has counselled nearly 50,000 patients with common and rare genetic disorders and is considered a pioneer in clinical genetics in India. Her expertise lies in early prenatal screening and prevention of genetic disorders. She has contributed extensively to academics and research, with around 70 publications in national and international journals, including Nature Genetics. She has also been honored with the title of “Professor” by the Apollo Education and Research Foundation for her contribution to science and research.
