Dr. Sharan Srinivasan has over 22 years of experience in neurosurgery. He began his medical journey with an MBBS from the Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute (BMCRI) in 1993, and completed his DNB in Neurosurgery from Manipal Hospital Bangalore in 2000. Over his career, he has treated large numbers of craniospinal trauma patients and stroke cases - reportedly over 1300 trauma patients and 400 stroke cases. He is also known for a philanthropic spirit: through his NGO/charity trust Swaasthya Aarogya Foundation, he has reportedly offered free or subsidised neurosurgical services to underprivileged patients and calamity victims.

Patients and referring physicians often value him for his combination of technical neurosurgical expertise, functional neurosurgery & neuro-rehabilitation skills, and a compassionate, patient-centered approach.
