Dr Suman Lata

Dr Lata is a nationally and internationally trained nephrologist who completed her DM in Nephrology from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. She helped establish the Department of Nephrology & Renal Transplantation at the Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences (ILBS) and has driven major kidney-transplant and dialysis programmes in several leading centres in and around Delhi and Haryana.  Dr Lata emphasises patient-centred care, making sure patients understand their treatment options and are supported through counselling and informed decision-making.

• HOD & Consultant – Nephrology and Kidney Transplant, Manipal Hospitals Dwarka, Delhi – current role
• Established the Department of Nephrology & Renal Transplantation at ILBS, New Delhi
