Dr. Viveka Kumar has extensive experience in cardiac interventions and electrophysiology, performing over 50,000 cardiac procedures to date. He has successfully completed more than 7,500 angioplasties and 2,500 balloon valvotomies, achieving exceptional clinical outcomes. A recognized leader in structural heart disease interventions, he is among the pioneers in TAVI, TMVR, and LAA occlusion procedures in India. Dr. Kumar has performed the first subcutaneous AICD implantation in the country and holds the record for the maximum number of AICD and leadless pacemaker implants in India. He also serves as a national and international proctor for TAVI, Rota Ablation, IVUS, OCT, SICD, AICD, and Micra implantation techniques, sharing his expertise with interventional cardiologists worldwide.
