Dr. Vivekanandan Shanmugam is a highly skilled liver transplant and HPB surgeon with over 15 years of surgical experience. He has been involved in more than 750 successful liver transplants and complex hepatobiliary procedures across India and abroad. Before joining SIMS Hospitals, he headed a leading Liver Transplant Program in Western Tamil Nadu and trained at several prestigious international centers, including Mount Sinai Hospital (New York) and Vienna. Dr. Vivekanandan is also a Founder Member of the Liver Transplant Society of India (LTSI) and a regular faculty at international CMEs and liver transplant conferences.
