A former Professor and HOD of Plastic Surgery at Army Hospital (R&R), Delhi Cantt, he has successfully treated patients from India and abroad. He has authored over 30 scientific publications in national and international journals and served as President of the Association of Plastic Surgeons of India (Delhi).
