Dr. K. R. Palaniswamy is a senior consultant gastroenterologist at Apollo Hospitals, Chennai, with over 40 years of experience. He completed MBBS in 1972, MD in 1977, and DM in Gastroenterology in 1981. He specialises in liver diseases, peptic ulcers, and therapeutic endoscopy. Dr. Palaniswamy is a Padma Shri awardee and former President of the Indian Society of Gastroenterology.
