Dr. Nicola Judith Flynn is a highly respected Paediatrician with over two decades of experience in paediatrics, neonatology, and critical care. She currently heads the Department of Paediatrics at Manipal Hospitals, EM Bypass, Kolkata, where the department is accredited with DNB seats. She has played a pivotal role in establishing NICU, PICU, and paediatric emergency services across leading hospitals in Kolkata. Dr. Flynn is also deeply involved in academic teaching, neonatal research, and paediatric life support training, making her a trusted name in child healthcare.

During her tenure as a research associate under Dr. Dilip Mahalanabis, Dr. Flynn has worked on the following projects: (1) Anthropometric measurements and their association with cord blood lipids in small for gestational age Indian neonates, (2) Effect of maternal Helicobacter Pylori infection and its impact on birth weight and anthropometry of the neonates, a project which was written and investigated by Dr. Flynn. This project also received a grant from the Department of Science and Technology, Government of West Bengal
