Dr. Nilesh G. Satbhai is a leading expert in plastic, reconstructive microsurgery and hand transplantation with over 18 years of clinical experience. He has performed several national and international firsts in hand and arm transplantation, including Asia’s first paediatric hand transplant and India’s first bilateral hand and arm transplants. His expertise spans microsurgical reconstruction, brachial plexus surgery, functional limb restoration, and complex trauma reconstruction. Dr. Satbhai has held senior roles across major hospitals in Mumbai and has trained extensively in Japan, Taiwan, and the United States.
