Prof. (Dr.) Subhash Gupta is a globally acclaimed liver transplant surgeon and the Chairman of the Centre for Liver & Biliary Sciences at Max Healthcare, New Delhi. With more than 36 years of experience and over 3,000 successful liver transplants, his centre now performs 200+ transplants annually, alongside complex hepatopancreaticobiliary surgeries. He is widely recognized for pioneering Living Donor Liver Transplantation in India, establishing globally benchmarked safety and quality protocols. Dr. Gupta has trained numerous specialists, delivered keynote lectures worldwide, and published over 30 papers in indexed medical journals, making significant academic contributions to liver and biliary surgery.
