Dr Prof V K Jain

Prof. (Dr.) V.K. Jain is a legendary figure in Indian neurosurgery, known for pioneering skull base, cerebrovascular, and craniovertebral junction surgeries. Over a distinguished career spanning more than four decades, he has introduced new surgical techniques and described novel neurosurgical entities. Widely respected as an academic leader, he has trained generations of neurosurgeons and authored landmark medical literature, including his book Craniovertebral Junction Anomalies – The Indian Experience.
