Dr. Rakesh Handa is a pioneer in Pediatric Laparoscopic Surgery in India, having established the Pediatric Minimally Invasive Surgery Program at Army Hospital (Research and Referral), New Delhi. With 38 years of surgical experience, including service in the Indian Army Medical Corps from 1980 to 2005, he is renowned for managing a full spectrum of surgical conditions in newborns and children. He has numerous publications in national and international journals and serves as a reviewer for multiple prestigious journals.
