Dr. Revathi Raj is a leading consultant in paediatric haematology at Apollo Hospitals, Chennai, with over three decades of experience. She has performed over 152 paediatric bone marrow transplants, including India's first successful unrelated transplant. She actively contributes to research, medical training, and advocacy for children with haematological disorders. As a program director for the National Board Fellowship in Paediatric Haematology/Oncology, she mentors young doctors in the field.

  • Over 152 paediatric bone marrow transplants performed, including cord blood transplants and peripheral stem cell harvesting.
  • Helped establish the Thalassaemia Welfare Association at Voluntary Health Services, Chennai, providing care for over 200 children with free blood transfusions and iron chelation therapy.
