Dr. Ruquaya Ahmad Mir is a Senior Consultant in Surgical Oncology at Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, New Delhi. With over 20 years of experience, she is recognized for her expertise in surgical oncology, particularly in advanced surgical techniques. Dr. Mir is known for her excellent professional skills and has been associated with Apollo Hospital since 2006. She is also actively involved in the training of postgraduate surgical students preparing for DNB Surgery and DNB Surgical Oncology and has contributed to several medical publications in peer-reviewed international journals.

• Nine years of experience in varied setting in care of oncology patients in large Cancer centres of leading corporate hospitals of Delhi.
• Routinely perform major oncological resectional surgical procedure such as surgery for head and neck cancers, Lung and Oesophageal cancers,major gastrointestinal malignancies, breast and gynaecological malignancies and soft tissue sarcomas and has been actively involved in implantation and maintenance of long term vascular access devices.
• Has special interest in areas of breast cancer and gynaecologic malignancies. Keen to integrate minimally invasive surgery in surgical oncology to stay ahead with cutting edge of technology and prevailing trend.
