Dr. Vikas Thakran is a highly accomplished Interventional Cardiologist and is regarded as one of the leading cardiac specialists in India. He is an alumnus of premier institutions, having completed his MBBS from Maulana Azad Medical College, followed by MD (Medicine) and DM (Cardiology) from AIIMS, New Delhi. He was awarded the Gold Medal as the Best Outgoing DM Resident and secured Rank 1 in the DM Cardiology examination and Rank 4 in the AIIMS PG entrance examination. His clinical practice spans adult, paediatric, electrophysiological, and structural heart diseases, with a strong focus on advanced and complex cardiac interventions.
